The World Forum
The American Biographical Institute serves as headquarters to the World Forum Federation, a body devised to establish a bold new tradition from the experience of over 30 hosted events. The annual World Forum serves as a platform for the melding of ideas and accomplishments, for the betterment of all nations and societies. It is an event comprised of representation from the world over – an assembly for the sharing of global knowledge.
The host city is of paramount importance as its culture is thought vital to the goals of the World Forum. Forums have been held in such venues as New York City, USA; Cambridge University, England; Cambridge, MA; Lisbon, Portugal; Vancouver, Canada; Nairobi, Kenya; Sydney, Australia; Singapore; Washington, DC; and Oxford University, England.
The 2008 World Forum will be held at St. Catherine’s College, Oxford, England. The Forum proper will convene August 26-31. A Pre-Forum Cultural Programme will take place August 23-26 prior to the Forum proper. The Cultural Programme will include visits to noble British residences and gardens, including Buckingham Palace.
