From the Editorial Department
ABI reference directories have firmly etched their place in the world of research, and are relied on to provide authoritative, accurate guides for business consultants, researchers, reporters, scholars, biographers, librarians, corporations, students, historians, genealogists, sociologists, and many others.
The goal of the Institute has always been to publish the factual and current profiles of men and women who make significant contributions to society on national, international, regional, professional, and social levels. ABI’s complex and diligent research into the lives and accomplishments of distinguished individuals is propelled by several components and the information published is drawn from the very best source possible: the men and women themselves. Each and every biographical record selected for inclusion is provided by the biographee, and each entrant receives a proof of his or her entry before publication, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date contents.
Inclusion in an ABI reference title is based on personal achievement alone and is not available for purchase. The Institute’s Governing Board of Editors, with a combined experience in biographical documentation totaling over 100 years, personally review all questionnaires and information received and select those included based solely on merit. Inclusion in an American Biographical Institute reference directory is an honor of recognition and authority.
