From the ABI Research Department
In addition to the experienced researchers within the ABI headquarters, six additional associations and boards exist to locate individuals throughout the world who are making a difference and deserve recognition. The Institute strives to highlight not only biographies of the powerful and famous, but also of the rising stars of tomorrow, and those whose impact is noticed on the local or immediate level.
The Advisory Directorate International works side-by-side with the Research Board of Advisors as a comprehensive, multi-ethnic and multi-national organization of men and women who work closely with each other and the Institute to recommend outstanding individuals worthy of biographical documentation. Fellows represent high achievers within their respective fields. Fellowship is by honorary appointment only. The Resident Directorate can be reached at .
The International Women’s Review Board (IWRB), in conjunction with the Professional Women’s Advisory Board, is a select group of distinguished women committed to expansively recognizing women’s achievements throughout the world. Whether in the professional arena or the everyday realm of the local community, Board members are asked to submit nominations for women who excel on every level. IWRB members are currently researching nominees for a current work-in-progress, International Who’s Who of Professional and Business Women. To be considered for appointment to this Board, contact Janet Evans at .
One of the newest and most exciting publications under compilation by the Institute is International Profiles of Accomplished Leaders. To ensure that a dynamic cross-section of contemporary achievement is represented, we have appointed Consulting Editors of the volume. Consulting Editors of International Profiles of Accomplished Leaders are honorary appointees and are, in addition to the Boards below, considered the backbone of research for this important Edition.
The American Biographical Institute Research Association (ABIRA) is designed to promote biographical research through fellowship. The ABIRA acts as a forum for individuals of all professions and nationalities to share knowledge and interests, and offer incentive for dedication and stimulation. ABIRA members are selected by the Chairman and Committees of the association and act as a body constantly searching for social, intellectual, and cultural enrichment. The Board of Governors is the highest office within this association.
